Corner Ponds Fisheries try to be as relaxed as possible with our regulations on fishing, however, to ensure the safe and equal enjoyment of our facilities, we expect members to adhere to the following rules, the main rule being to let common sense and courtesy prevail!:-

-10mph Speed Limit must be adhered to both in the fishery and on the approach road

-The Fishery Gate must be closed and securely locked at all times (code to locks provided with welcome pack)

- Vehicular access available at every peg, please be considerate of fellow members when parking

- Members Only, No Day Tickets, No Guests

- Permits remain the property of Retford Angling Centre Fisheries and may be revoked at any time

-Permits must be kept on the members person and presented to a Fisheries Bailiff or fellow member on request

- No live/dead baits, or lures, to be used without prior permission from a Senior Bailiff

- No keepnets to be used

- All fish are to be handled with care and treated with utmost respect

- Unhooking Mats must be used (Available at a members rate from Retford Angling Centre)

- Landing Nets are to be completely dry prior to use to prevent cross contamination and spread of disease

- All fish are to be returned to the water. Injured or Sick fish may be retained but must be reported

- Barbless Hooks only, to a maximum of size 12

- One rod or pole to used at any one time (max pole legnth 14m)

- Fishing from designated pegs only

- Method Feeders may be used but no fixed leads, all feeder and bomb rigs to be free-running

- No Nut Baits to be used, Particles may be used during the warmer months and must be properly prepared (soft)

- Only Gold Bait Feed Pellets may be used (available from Retford Angling Centre or our online Shop)

- Surface Baits allowed but extra care must be taken to prevent wildlife ingesting hooks

- All boilies are allowed  (full range or flavours available at Retford Angling Centre and from our Online Shop)

- All litter to be taken home by the angler, Anglers must take responsibility for the upkeep of their chosen peg.

- No fires are to be lit - Barbeques are permitted with prior permission and must be raised and clear from the floor and vegetation, must be extinguished

- Night fishing allowed

- No Drugs are allowed, alcohol Is permitted in moderation

- Disturbance and noise to be kept to an absolute minimum

- Juniors fish for free under the supervision of a full adult member, must fish from the same peg at busy times

- Dogs are allowed but must be kept under control and any mess to be cleaned up

- Fellow anglers, visitors and members of public are to be treated in a polite and respectful manner

- Memberships run for 12 months from purchase, and must be renewed no later than 2 weeks prior to expiry to guarantee a place on the fishery

- Any instance of wrongdoing, damage or litter to be reported to a senior bailiff as soon as possible
